  • 4 lb. tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 medium green peppers, chopped
  • 6 to 8 jalapeno peppers, sliced or chopped
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 3 to 4 tsp. oregano
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 or 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste

Directions

    Peel tomatoes first and cut up.

    Then add garlic, onions, green peppers, vinegar, pinch of cayenne pepper and tomato paste. Bring all of this to a boil for about 15 minutes.

    Then add jalapeno peppers and cook for 1 hour.

    Then pack in jars and seal.
