- 1 gal. tomatoes
- 8 to 10 hot peppers (chopped fine)
- 2 red bell peppers (chopped fine)
- 2 large onions (chopped fine)
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
Directions

1Peel and cut tomatoes.

2Remove most seeds from tomatoes.

3Drain tomatoes.

4Make enough tomatoes to make 1 gallon.

5Put drained tomatoes and all other ingredients into a large pot and let it boil slowly for approximately 2 hours or until it reaches the consistency for easy dipping with tortilla chips, etc.

6Salsa may be put into jars and sealed tightly.

7Makes about 5 pints.
