  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 small red onion, peeled and halved
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, quartered
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro, stems removed
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 large beefsteak tomatoes, coarsely chopped

Directions

    Place garlic, onion, jalapenos, cilantro, oregano, lime juice, salt and pepper in bowl of food processor.

    Pulse until onion and jalapenos are coarsely chopped.

    Remove to a bowl and stir in tomatoes.

    Mix well.

    Chill for 1/2 hour to blend flavors.
