  • 3 Medium Size Fresh Tomatillos
  • 1/2 Yellow Onion
  • 2 Whole Jalapenos (Remove Seeds For Less Heat)
  • 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Fire Roasted Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 Lime, Juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste

Directions

    Slice tomatillos in half and place in the broiler (cut side down) for 5-7 minutes, until the skin becomes slightly blackened.

    Rough chop onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.

    Combine all ingredients in a blender, including lime juice.

    Pulse until desired consistency, place in a jar, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    Makes about 1 pint.
