- 5 -6 medium tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 jalapeno, stemmed
- 6 -8 sprigs fresh cilantro
- 14-13 cup chopped red onion
- 14-13 cup fresh lime juice
- salt
Directions

1Roughly chop the tomatillos and the jalapeno, add to blender.

2Add cilantro, and lime juice.

3Process to a coarse puree, then scrape into a serving dish.

4Stir onion into salsa.

5Add more chopped cilantro if desired.

6Add salt to taste, usually 1/4 teaspoon.

7Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

8Allow to sit 20 minutes out of fridge before serving.
