Ingredients
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 2 Packages rapid rise yeast
- 5-6 c. flour
Directions

1Put water in large bowl.

2Add in oil and sugar, then yeast.

3Fold in a little flour and let stand a few min till bubbles start to create.

4Stir in flour (may use mixer) till thick batter.

5Then add in flour slowly till dough starts to come from sides of bowl.

6Turn onto floured surface, round into ball.

7Cover with bowl.
-
8Let stand 10 min.

9Knead, adding flour if necessary so it isn't sticky.

10Dough should feel smooth and soft.

11Put into well oiled bowl.

12Turn so it is covered with oil.

13Cover with towel.

14Should double in size in about half hour or possibly a little more.

15Punch down and divide into 2 loaves.

16Put into well oiled or possibly sprayed 9 5/8 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 inch pans.

17Oil tops, let rise till doubled in size.

18Set in oven.
-
19Turn heat to 350 degrees.

20Bake about an hour or possibly till loaves are brown on top and pull away from sides of pan.

21Put on rack to cold.

22Makes excellent toast.

23If cut into 16 slices, 97 calories per slice.
