Salted Nut Fudge

  • 1 cup white baking chips
  • 3/4 cup prepared creamy vanilla frosting
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter baking chips
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed salted nuts, coarsely chopped

    Line 8- or 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges.

    Lightly butter foil; set aside.

    Place white baking chips and frosting in medium bowl.

    Microwave 1 minute; stir.

    Continue microwaving 30-60 seconds until chips are melted and smooth.

    Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until well mixed.

    Pour into prepared pan.

    Refrigerate 30 minutes until firm.

    Combine peanut butter baking chips, corn syrup, butter and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla in heavy 2-quart saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring often, 1-2 minutes or just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
