  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/ tsp. soda
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Combine and form into 4 balls.

    Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.

    Next day, soften ball with warmth of hands.

    Roll very thin.

    Cut out and decorate.

    Bake at 400°. Watch closely, they brown quickly!
