  • 5 lb fresh picked saskatoon berries
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 1 dash fresh cinnamon
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 F

    Wash and clean the berries

    Place then in a large mixing bowl and toss with sugar/spice cornstarch.

    Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until top crust is flaky brown

    Pile high in pie shell and sprinkle with remaking sugar mix.
