  • 1 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar and soda.

    In large saucepan, combine margarine, water and cocoa; bring to boil. Remove from heat.

    Add flour mixture, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

    Using electric hand mixer, beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
