- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, brown ground beef on medium heat; drain fat.

2Add the water, tomato sauce, onion, oregano, basil, salt, garlic powder and pepper into the pan and stir.

3Cook on high until the mixture is bubbly.

4Break the spaghetti in half and add it to the saucepan mixture.

5Cover and simmer on low for 30 minutes or until the spaghetti is tender.

6Stir often with a wooden spoon.

7Serve hot with Parmesan cheese.
