- 2 small yellow squash
- 1 small zucchini squash
- 1 pt. canned tomatoes or 3 medium fresh tomatoes, peeled
- 1 large onion
- 1 fresh jalapeno pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt to taste
Directions

1Wash fresh squash and cut into small pieces.

2Cut onion into same size pieces (approximate).

3Chop pepper into small pieces. Cut up tomatoes or puree in blender, if desired.

4Place all ingredients in 2-quart saucepan.

5Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
