- water
- whole cloves
- 3 bay leaves
- 4 onions
Directions

1Place meat in a large bowl.

2Cover with vinegar and water. Make a net (cheesecloth) of cloves and bay leaves and place in the vinegar water.

3Jab meat with fork.

4Slice onions over meat. Marinate for 3 to 4 days, turning meat daily.

5Cook roast as you would any beef roast.

6Use vinegar water and onions to make an onion gravy.
