- 1 lb mild sausage
- 12 cup butter
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) package chicken noodle soup mix
- 1 cup rice
- 4 12 cups water, boiling
Directions

1Fry the sausage and remove from the skillet saving the remaining grease.

2To the same skillet, add the pepper, onion, butter and mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.

3Cook the soup and the rice in the boiling water for 20 minutes.

4Add all remaining ingredients and serve.

5If cold, reheat in a 350* oven for 20 minutes.
