  • 1 lb. frozen bread dough
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushrooms (or fresh)
  • 1 lb. hot or mild Italian sausage
  • garlic powder
  • oregano
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Take 1 pound frozen bread dough and thaw.

    Flour and then roll with a rolling pin.

    Beat egg slightly and brush on rolled dough. Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese.

    Distribute cut up, sauteed onion and mushrooms over surface.

    Take fried bulk Italian sausage and sprinkle over ingredients.

    Sprinkle with garlic powder, then shredded Mozzarella cheese.

    Roll the dough like a jelly roll and brush outer side with beaten egg.
