Sausage Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 medium green pepper
  • 1 bag plain bread crumbs
  • 1 bag cornbread crumbs
  • 1 can Campbell's chicken broth
  • 2 to 3 c. water

    Make sausage into cakes and fry.

    Remove from grease.

    Chop onion and green pepper.

    Saute in grease.

    Add bread crumbs, chicken broth and water.

    Stir well.

    Break sausage into small pieces and add to mixture.

    Make sure dressing is good and wet. Add more water if needed.
