  • 24 medium size mushrooms (about 1-inch wide, 1 lb. total)
  • 1/3 lb. seasoned bulk pork sausage
  • 3 Tbsp. seasoned dried bread crumbs
  • Italian parsley leaves

    Heat the broiler.

    Rinse the mushrooms. Scoop out stems with a small spoon and save for other uses.

    Mix the pork sausage and bread crumbs. Mound meat mixture in caps, then place meat side up in a rimmed 10 x 15-inch baking pan.

    Broil 6 to 7-inches from heat until meat is well browned, about 5 minutes.
