  • 1 lb. hot bulk sausage
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 c. Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 3/4 c. water

Directions

    Cook sausage until done, breaking up meat with a fork.

    Drain off fat; place sausage in a large bowl.

    Cool; add cheese, Bisquick mix, pepper and water.

    Mix with fork until blended. Roll in 1/2 to 1-inch balls.

    Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets and cool completely.

    Makes about 8 dozen.
