  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage or 1 lb. sausage and 1/2 lb. ham
  • 1 finely chopped medium onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese

Directions

    Brown sausage/ham pieces, onion, seasonings and parsley. Drain well and cool.

    Beat 1 egg and add to sausage mixture, along with shredded cheese.

    Roll out each loaf of bread (use very smooth surface), making a 6 x 18-inch rectangle.

    Spoon sausage mixture onto center of dough.

    Starting at long ends, roll up dough.

    Pinch to seal.
