- 2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 lb. sausage, at room temperature
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients; cut in shortening.

2Add milk and mix well.

3Knead on lightly floured board until dough can be handled easily.

4Divide dough in half and roll one-half inch thick. Divide sausage in half and spread dough.

5Roll in jelly fashion. Chill.

6Slice and bake at 350° until brown and meat is done.
