- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3/4 pound bulk sausage
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients;

2cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Stir in milk.

4Turn dough out onto floured surface, and kneed 1 or 2 times. Lightly roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness (17 1/2 x 8 inch rectangle).

5Sprinkle sausage evenly over dough.

6Roll dough jellyroll fashion, starting at long end.

7Cut into 1/2 inch slices and place on greased cookie sheets.
