- 1 lb. sausage (Italian or smoked)
- 2 diced bell peppers
- 2 medium sliced onions
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced undrained mushrooms
- 1 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Cut sausage in bite size pieces.

2Brown sausage and onions; add peppers and cook a few minutes.

3Add rest of ingredients.

4Cook for several hours.

5Add water, if needed, although thick sauce is best. Serve over spaghetti.

6You can alter ingredients to suit yourself. Add 1 tablespoon sugar to remove bitter taste of tomato paste, if you desire.

7Italian seasoning may be added.
