- 1 head Cabbage
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg

1Cut the cabbage in quarters. Cut out the core and thinly slice each quarter.

2In a large pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the cabbage and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes, until the cabbage is very soft. Taste for seasonings.
