- 2 lb. fresh small green beans, cut French-style or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen beans
- 2 c. chicken bouillon or 2 bouillon cubes, mixed in 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. dried chervil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 tsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
Directions

1Put green beans, chicken bouillon, chervil and salt into saucepan.

2Cover and bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until crisp-tender. (For frozen beans, cook 6 to 8 minutes.)

4Drain thoroughly.
