- 2 shad roe (about 1 lb.)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- lemon wedges
Directions

1About 10 minutes before serving, in covered 10-inch skillet, over medium heat in hot butter, cook roe, turning once, for 8 minutes or until roe loses its pink color and is tender. Sprinkle roe with salt and pepper.
