Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 cup chicken stock
  • 18 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 14 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 12 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

    In a large pot of boiling water blanch the beans - 2 - 3 minutes.

    In a heavy skillet saute the beans and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients except cornstarch and water.

    Mix cornstarch and water until smooth.

    Add to beans tossing to thicken the sauce and serve immediately.
