- 2 lb. beef, cut in 2-inch cubes
- 3 bouillon cubes in 3 c. hot water
- 6 carrots, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 8 small whole onions
- 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 Tbsp. finely cut up parsley
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper and thyme
Directions

1In preheated electric skillet at 325°, brown beef in melted fat.

2Add seasonings and bouillon.

3Reduce heat to 200°; cover and cook 35 minutes.

4Add carrots and onions; cook an additional 25 minutes.

5Add mushrooms.

6Cover and steam 20 minutes.

7Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
