- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 1/2 to 4 lb. round or chuck roast
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pouch dry onion soup mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 6 medium potatoes (5 1/2 c.)
- 6 carrots, cut in 2 inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Directions

1In 6-quart saucepan, in oil, brown roast on all sides; spoon off fat.

2Add vegetables.

3Stir in mushroom and onion soups and 1 cup water.

4Reduce heat to low, cover.

5Cook 45 minutes or until vegetables and meat are tender.
