- 1 lb. raw double-smoked sausage
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 14 cups whole wheat bread, toasted and cubed
- 1-1/3 tbsp. dried savory
- 5 oz. water chestnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 2 cups chicken broth
Directions

1Over medium heat, fry sausage and onion until onion has softened.

2Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

3Place in a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, cover and bake in preheated 350F oven for 25 minutes.

4Remove cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
