- 2 lb. lean boneless beef, cut in strips
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large green peppers, seeded and cut in strips
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. bacon fat
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and pepper; toss meat into mixture.

2Shake off excess.

3Heat bacon fat; stir beef in about 4 minutes or until browned.

4Simmer all together, covered, 45 to 60 minutes, or until meat is tender.

5Serve with steamed rice.
