- 8 oz. scallops
- 1 clove garlic, cut
- 4 Tbsp. diet margarine, melted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- few grains cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- lemon slices
Directions

1Rub the bottom and sides of shallow baking pan with garlic. Add 2 tablespoons of the melted margarine and swish around pan. Arrange scallops in the dish.

2Mix the salt, white pepper, cayenne and paprika.

3Season the scallops with the spice mixture.

4Pour the remaining 2 tablespoons of margarine over the scallops.

5Place under the broiler.

6Cook 5 minutes, stir and cook 5 more minutes. This is good served over rice.

7Garnish with lemon.

8Serves 2.
