Scalloped Cabbage

  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 lb. American cheese
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 bags salt crackers

Directions

    Take one 9 x 13-inch cake pan, layer bottom of cake pan with crackers.

    Then layer cabbage on top of crackers.

    Then put thin slices of butter on cabbage.
  4. 4
    Then put layers of cheese over butter, then fill pan with milk until you can see it.

    Bake at 350° until milk dries out of it.

    Salt and pepper to taste.
