- crackers (soda) or butter crackers (approximately 1 1/2 inner packs)
- cabbage (1 small head), cooked
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Put a layer of crackers on bottom of 2-quart baking dish.

2Add 1 layer of cooked cabbage, then a layer of 1/2 can mushroom soup, followed by a layer of 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.

3Repeat layers again.

4Add pepper (if desired).

5Top with crushed cracker crumbs on top.

6Bake about 20 to 25 minutes at 325°.

7Crackers may be crushed for layers.
