- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 (1 lb.) can whole kernel corn, drained (2 c. fresh)
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Saute onion in butter until golden.

3Blend in flour and seasonings; cook until bubbly.

4Remove from heat; gradually add milk.

5Bring to boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat.

7Add corn and egg.

8Pour into a 1-quart baking dish.

9Top with buttered crumbs.

10Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
