- 1 lb. squash
- 1/4 stick margarine or butter
- 1 medium or large onion
- salt and pepper
- flour
- milk
- Italian flavored bread crumbs
Directions

1Slice squash in 1/4-inch slices.

2Line baking dish (casserole) with alternate rows of squash, onions, salt, pepper and about 2 teaspoons of flour for each layer.

3Salt and pepper should be used to taste.

4Dot each layer with butter after you place flour on top of layer.

5Cover with bread crumbs.

6Bake at 400° for approximately 3/4 hour.

7Check after 1/2 hour.
