  • 2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
  • 3 or 4 slices toast, cut in cubes
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Season tomatoes with onion, salt and pepper.

    In a 1-quart casserole dish, alternate tomatoes and toast cubes, having toast for top layer.

    Pour butter over and bake at 375° until heated, about 20 minutes.
