  • 1 can Whole Tomatoes, Large
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced
  • 3 cups Soft Bread Cubes
  • 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 1/2 sticks Butter, Cut In Small Pieces

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Mix first 5 ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Put in a greased baking dish. Add butter on top. Bake for 1 hour.

    Note: Fresh tomatoes can be substituted. Use 1-2 lbs. fresh chopped tomatoes, adding tomato juice as needed. Texture should be slightly wetter than a stuffing or dressing.
