Scalloped Tomatoes

  • 2 c. peeled and cooked fresh or canned tomatoes
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. minced onion or green pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Season tomatoes with salt, onion and pepper.

    Fill baking dish with crumbs and tomatoes, in alternate layers, with crumbs on top. Dot with butter.

    Bake at 350° for half hour.

    May sprinkle cheese on top.

    Serves 6.
