- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour or 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 slices toasted bread, buttered and cubed
- 28 oz. tomatoes (3/4 qt.)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions

1Saute celery and onions in margarine.

2Add flour, sugar, salt, pepper and mustard.

3Mix well.

4Add tomatoes and cubed bread. Save enough bread crumbs to put on top.

5Put in 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
