Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2/3 c. + 1 tsp. sugar
  • 7 c. all-purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp. dry milk
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted

Directions

    Mix together yeast and 1 cup water; let rise.

    Mix together sugar, flour and dry milk.

    Mix together butter and other cup of water.
  4. 4
    Mix all together, adding yeast mixture and butter mixture alternately to dry mixture.

    Mix until well blended.

    Must use mixer with dough hooks.

    Knead on low, then on high until well mixed and smooth.

    Let rise in warm place until double.

    Knead and shape into rolls by hand or roll and cut out.

    Place on 13 x 9-inch pans; brush top with melted butter.

    Bake at 375° until brown. Brush again with butter.

    For cinnamon rolls, add 1/4 cup sugar to dry ingredients.
