- 3 12 cups plain flour
- 12 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 34 cup buttermilk
- 34 cup milk
- 1 cup jam or 1 cup honey
Directions

1Place flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl.

2Make well in the centre, gradually add both milks.

3Stir till well combined.

4Turn onto lightly floured surface, divide into 8 pieces.

5Roll each piece into a 20 cm length.

6Wrap around a stick.

7Cook over hot coals, not flames, turning for 10 - 15 minutes.

8T o serve, remove scone from stick.

9Spoon jam or honey downthe centre.
