Ingredients

  • 2 cups sourdough batter
  • 1 cup milk or 1 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 14 cup oil
  • sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little water
  • 4 cups flour

Directions

    Mix as you would for yeast bread, not too stiff.

    Place in lightly greased container and let rise to double in bulk.

    Roll out on a floured board and cut to desired pieces.

    Fry in deep Crisco oil.

    Make plenty.
