  • 4 c. flour, sifted 4 times
  • 1 lb. butter, softened and worked into flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar

    Combine.

    Bake in oven at 350° in long oblong pan.

    Do not grease pan.

    Go around edges with a fork and stick the fork in places on top of shortbread.

    Cut into slices while still warm.
