- 1/2 c. confectioners or light brown sugar
- 2 c. bread flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In electric mixer, beat butter; add sugar gradually and flour sifted with baking powder and salt.

2Fold in last half cup of flour by hand.

3Roll in 1/3-inch thick, cut in squares or rounds, price with fork and decorate, if desired.

4Bake 20 to 25 minutes in moderate 350° oven or until delicately brown.
