- 1 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 6 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions

1In large saucepan cook Karo and sugar on low heat.

2Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

3Add peanut butter.

4Stir until melted. Add Rice Krispies.

5Stir well until all Krispies are coated. Walnuts can also be added at this time.

6In a double boiler melt both packages of morsels together.

7In a 9 x 13-inch greased pan put Krispies in.

8Flatten until even all around pan.

9Spread melted morsels over top.

10Refrigerate until hardened.

11Cut and enjoy. When finished, Scotcharoos can be left at room temperature.
