  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 6 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 c. (6 oz.) butterscotch morsels

Directions

    Combine sugar and corn syrup in 3-quart saucepan.

    Cook until mixture bubbles over medium heat, stirring frequently.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in peanut butter; mix well.

    Add Rice Krispies; stir until well coated.

    Press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch morsels together over very low heat or over hot but not boiling water, stirring until well blended.

    Remove from heat.

    Spread evenly over Rice Krispies mixture.

    Cool until firm; cut.
