- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk or sour milk (approximately)
Directions

1Mix together dry ingredients.

2Pour in milk and melted margarine, enough only to make soft but not sticky dough.

3Turn out on to floured surface and knead a few times.

4Divide into 4 portions.

5Roll each ball out to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness.

6Place on heated griddle at medium heat.

7Turn when golden brown on bottom and brown second side.

8Keeps well and can be toasted.
