- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly.

2Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt; blend until smooth.

3Roll or pat to 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface.

4Cut with 2-inch cutter or in pie pans (must score before baking).

5Place on ungreased baking sheets.

6Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not brown! Makes 5 dozen.
