- 1 lb. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 c. flour
- sugar or powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix butter, 1 cup sugar and flour, a little at a time.

2Pat in jelly roll pan.

3Roll with rolling pin until smooth.

4Then fork all over.

5Bake at 250° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Remove from oven and cut into bars right away, while hot.

7Sprinkle with sugar or powdered sugar.

8Set on rack to cool.
