  • 1 c. sugar
  • 14 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • colored sprinkles or crystal sugar decorations

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add flour a little at a time to mix. Mixture will be crumbly.

    Spread onto greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar decorations to cover.

    Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes until edges get golden brown.

    Let cool.

    Cut into 4 x 2-inch strips (approximately).

    Yields 15 to 20 servings.
